Big Brother 15... First Episode

Sooo my friends... What did you think of last nights episode of Big Brother 15?  Were you shocked that McCrae won the first HoH?  What about the MVP, do you like that twist?

It was definitely a lack luster episode but the first episode usually is, it gets better each episode as we see people's characters come out and we see the game evolve.  My three least favorites after last nights episode are David 'The Hair' Girton, GinaMarie Zimmerman, and Judd 'What did you say?' Daughtery.  My favourites so far are, Nick, Spencer, McCrae, Howard (LMM you know why), Aaryn and Jeremy.  But believe me I'm like a fish out of water flip flopping between my favorites each episode so we'll just have to wait and see this play out!

It was nice to see the 'underdog' pizza boy win HoH, who knew he had it in him?! Will he keep his promise to Nick?  Who will he nominate?  Sunday we shall find out!

I kept guessing throughout the episode (probably annoyingly to my friends ;)) what the MVP will do, they weren't the first HoH like I thought they might be.  They weren't safe for the first week like my second thought, Big Brother had me stumped!  So what does the MVP mean for the game?  Well let me tell you it's genius!! The MVP is picked by the views and is a secret (smart) and they get to secretly nominate the third person for eviction!  This definitely changes the game as one person is not solely in control.  Hopefully the voters don't decide to nominate the HoH as MVP each week, that would defeat the purpose.

Big Brother seems to be pulling out all the stops this season, more house guests, big twists and new sets; it's shaping up to be a good season!  Tune in on Sunday, June 30th at 5pm EST / 8pm PST on CBS to see who gets nominated and who wins power of veto!

ALSO, for Canadians, Big Brother after dark will be played for free from 1am to 3am every night on Slice

Top Ten Comedies to Watch Out For This Fall!

Hello my friends...

I bet some of you are wanting to know what's on this fall? What's new? What's coming back? And What isn't?  Well here's a sneak peak of the top ten New comedies to watch this fall!  I will have a full report on all the new, old, cancelled shows over the next few weeks!

The top ten most anticipated comedies this fall are:

#10 Us & Them

Jason Ritter plays Gavin a neurotic personality who has never been in love.  Alexis Bledel plays Stacey previously engaged and very witty.  Gavin and Stacey have been flirting over the internet for six months and have finally decided to meet, with his crazy family and her overbearing uncle, it is not how will this couple get together its how they will stay together.  Set to premiere mid-season this fall on FOX.

#9 Back In The Game

Terry Cannon Jr (Maggie Lawson) was an all star softball player until life threw her a couple curve balls of its own; a baby, a lost college sponsorship and a loser for a husband.  Striking out on her own, Terry and her son Danny (Griffin Gluck) move in with her estranged father, Terry Sr. aka "The Cannon" (James Caan).  The Cannon is an opinionated, beer-guzzling, ex-athlete, who never quite made the cut as a single father or professional baseball player.  But this family can't stay away from the game of baseball, as Danny wants to join Little League, but has no baseball skills at all.  When all the kids with no skills get cut a wealthy neighbor offers to finance a team of all the mistfits, which Terry reluctantly offers to coach.  A heartwarming comedy of a family coming together begins this fall at 8:30pm on ABC.

#8 Mom

Starring the always hilarious Allison Janney and Anna Faris as Mother and Daughter.  From the hit maker Chuck Lorre comes a new comedy sure to be a hit.  Newly sober single mom Christy (Anna Faris) struggles to raise two children in a world of temptations and pitfalls and testing her sobriety the most is her formally estranged mother (Allison Janney) who is eager to share passive aggresive insights into her daughters many mistakes.  Watch this roller coaster unfold every Monday this fall beginning September 23rd at 6:30pm EST/9:30 PST on CBS.

#7 Welcome To The Family

A comedic Romeo and Juliet of sorts but without the dreadful ending.  Two young kids just graduating from highschool, both a family first, become pregnant and end up getting married, bringing two very different familites together in a way they never imagined.  Dan and Miguel, the father's of these young kids who already have a history, do not see eye to eye are forced to figure out way to get along for the kids and the baby on the way.  Series premiere Thursday, October 3rd at 530pm EST/830pm PST on NBC.

#6 About A Boy

Loosly based off the hit movie 'About A Boy', this new comedy centers around Will Freeman (David Walton) a man who wrote a hit song and was granted a life of free time, free love and freedom from financial woes.  Now he's single and ready to mingle until a charming 11 year old boy and his mother move in next door.  Now this kid, who wants to be his best friend, makes him a little uneasy untill he realizes women find single dads are hot.  So they strike a deal: marcus will pretend to be will's son and in return Marcus is allowed to chill at will's house, playing ping-pong and gorging on steaks, something Marcus' vegan mother would never allow.  An interesting take on comedy, starting mid-season on NBC.

#5 Dads

Honor they father.

Way easier said than done, especially when your dad's broke, living in your house and ruining your life.  Two successful guys Eli (Seth Green) and Warner (Giovanni Ribisi) are the co-founders of a successful video game company.- childhood best friends - now in their mid-30's whose relatively stable lives get turned upside down when their pain-in-the-neck fathers move in.  Loaded with an all-star cast this is sure to be a new Tuesday night hit, premiering this fall on FOX.

#4 Enlisted

Sergeant Pete Hill (Geoff Stults) was on a path for a huge military career until one mistake overseas got him booted stateside to Fort McGee, the base in Florida where his two younger brothers are stationed.  Now, as head of their platoon he must serve as big brother and military boss.  Corporal Derrick Hill (Chris Lowell) is the middle brother, smart and sarcastic, he likes to stir up trouble and doesn't really care about being a soldier.  And the youngest, private Randy Hill (Parker Young) loves being in the army, he's hyper-enthusiastic, hyper-goofy, just hyper, and wants to b the gung-ho "GI JOE" military ideal.  A military-set family comedy, centering on three brothers who, when the best of the best are sent overseas, stay behind to try to keep the base in order.  Between hijacking tanks, inventing new drinking games and accidentally blowing up a few trucks, they will inadvertently discover the key to strengthening their long-lost childhood bonds.  Three hot brothers, one army and absolutely no fighting starts Thursday nights at 6:30pm EST / 9:30pm late fall on FOX.
***even if this comedy doesn't appease me, the view will be nice ;)**

#3 Brooklyn Nine-Nine

From the Emmy Award-winning write producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation) and starring Emmy Award winners Andy Samberg (SNL) and Andre Braugher (Men of a Certain Age and Homicide: Life on the Street), Brooklyn Nine-Nine is about what happens when a talented but carefree detective gets a new captain with a lot to prove. Also working cases in Brooklyn's 99th precinct is Sergeant TERRY JEFFORDS (Terry Crews, "Bridesmaids," "Everybody Hates Chris"), a linebacker of a man who's lost his nerve, not because he's a wimp, but because a year ago his wife had twin baby girls - Cagney and Lacey - and he can't imagine not seeing them grow up. Detective CHARLES BOYLE (Joe Lo Truglio, "Wreck-It Ralph," "Superbad"), who idolizes Jake and is the precinct's workhorse; he's not that brilliant, he's not physically gifted but he tries harder than anyone else. Charles pines for Detective ROSA DIAZ (Stephanie Beatriz, "Modern Family," "The Closer"), with whom he stands no chance at all. Rosa is simultaneously tough, sexy and scary as hell. She's vocally opinionated about everything. And cleaning up everyone's mess is GINA LINETTI (Chelsea Peretti, "Parks and Recreation," "Kroll Show"), the eccentric, civilian office manager who somehow gets involved in everyone's business.

Together, these tightly knit cops interrogate suspects, arrest perps and solve murders. But, ultimately, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE is a workplace comedy that's not really about the job. It's about the men and women behind the badge - singing karaoke, grabbing a beer and hitting on each other - all while protecting the fine people of Brooklyn. Would you feel safe? Find out Tuesdays this fall on FOX.

#2 The Crazy Ones
Robin Williams returns to television as a renowned advertising genius whose unorthodox methods would get him fired, if he weren't the boss and heading a powerful agency with the biggest clients and brands in the world.  The office is staffed with an eclectic group, like their boss, intent on keeping his antics in check.  This includes his daughter (Sarah Michelle Gellar) who often questions her father's sanity while she tries to make a name for herself in the advertising world.  CBS has this one in the bag! A new comedy with Robin Williams, PLEASE he will keep us laughing and wanting more each week.  Premiering Thursday, September 26th at 6pm EST/9pm PST this fall on CBS.

Lastly The Number ONE, Most Anticipated Hit Comedy of The 2013 Fall Line Up Is........

#1 The Micheal J Fox Show

NBC has hit a home run signing Micheal J Fox to a new comedy show starring himself and proving to everyone he's "Still Got It".
The beloved Micheal J Fox has returned to television as one of New York's most beloved news anchors, Mike Henry (Michael J. Fox), who put his career on hold to spend more time with his family and focus on his health after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. But now five years later with the kids busy growing up and Mike growing restless it just might be time for him to get back to work and secretly his whole family is on board.
Having never wanted Mike to leave in the first place, his old boss Harris Green (Wendell Pierce) jumped at the chance to get him back on TV. The trick, as it's always been, was to make Mike think it was his idea. After many failed attempts, Mike's family, anxious to see him out of the house, finally succeeded in getting him to "run into" Green. Now their plan is in motion. He'll be back to juggling home, family and career, just like the old days - only better.  You know with Micheal J Fox at the helm this is sure to be the biggest hit television has seen on Thursday's in years, raising the bar for Thursday night comedies.  The series premiere, battling The Crazy Ones on CBS, starts Thursday, September 26th at 6pm EST/9pm PST on NBC.

This is just a taste of what's to come this fall.  Follow me here each week for fall updates and the release of the coveted fall television schedule made by yours truly!

Ok... Here It Is... The Big Brother 15 Cast!!

From top left to right, we have Elissa (27), Aaryn (22), Andy (26), David (25), GinaMarie (32), Jeremy (23), Howard (29), Helen (37), Nick (28), Amanda (28), Spencer (31), Jessie (25), Kaitlin (23), Judd (26),  Candice (29), and McCrae (23).

There they are your Big Brother 15 cast!!!! What do you think?  What are your predictions?

Well, first off I have to say I can't wait!  Three nights a week, yaaay finally TV will be back to it's former summer glory, I have missed this show and this will fill my heart, blog, twitter and facebook for the rest of the summer!

I have read each persons strategy (click here) and I predict that Elissa will be the first to go!  Shes seems like she is going to hit the ground running and most people wont like that!  I also feel like Helen doesn't have a chance as shes the oldest of the women and I don't think she will mesh well with the younger, less mature women.  As for the men, there is great potential for showmances and bromances as it looks like there are many alpha males!  David's laid back style and personality will do well for him in this gamel, Jeremy might try too hard and I think Spencer will be the lovable teddy bear funny man who will stick around for awhile!  But please don't hold me to this as I the season has just begun!

Want to join in on the fun?  Head to CBS now  Click here  to cast your vote for the first MVP of the season based on their strategies!!!  I predict this may determine the first HoH so go and vote!

This is sure to be a season not to miss!  Tune in for the Season Premiere on June 26th at 5pm EST/8pm PST on CBS

Stay tuned to Oh So Lindsay, as I will have the latest and greatest for Big Brother 15!

xoxo Lindsay

And The Countdown Begins....

That's right my friends!!!  One WEEK until the season 15 premiere of Big Brother!!!!!!!!  And rumor has it that tomorrow, June 20th they are revealing the house guests!  You know I will be all over this but for now click here to see released photos of the Big Brother house!  This year they have gone with a Mid-Century modern chic style sure to impress us home viewers.  Additionally, they have updated the live set with a multi-story front, a lighted runway and a massive 103 inch plasma screen.

Looks like after the success of Big Brother Canada and all the twists they brought to the table it was time for Big Brother US to up their game!! And CBS has done just that, announcing two new big twists for this season and they are gooooo-ooood!!!!!

#1. For the first time EVER each week there will be three house guests nominated for eviction
#2. "Big Brother MVP", each week us viewers will get to vote our favourite game player of the week, more details to come as this will begin tomorrow when they contestants are revealed!  CBS is hoping that this tactic will eliminate the 'floating' player forcing house guests to rethink their strategies.

This is a season not to miss!  And if you have never seen the show (big gasp) now is a good time to start!!  This looks like the best season yet!

Don't miss any of the action here on Oh So Lindsay starting Wednesday June 26th at 5pm EST / 8pm PST on CBS!  Make sure to follow every juicy detail from episode to episode and after dark on twitter @ohsolindsay.

Following the premiere on Wednesday, June 26 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), BIG BROTHER will be broadcast three nights weekly – Sundays (8:00 - 9:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning June 30), Tuesdays  (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning July 2) and the LIVE eviction show hosted by Julie Chen will be broadcast on Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT, beginning July 3).

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day

                               Dad (Biological Father)

                                Dad (Step Dad)

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's out there, ESPECIALLY mine!!

I am a lucky person who has grown up with two dads!!  Obviously this is not physically feasible, so to further explain, I have my biological father (Dad) and my step father (Dad), both of whom I call dad and both of whom ARE my dad!

In February I lost my dad (biological father) I miss him everyday!!  I will celebrate with him in spirit and memories today!! He is always in my heart; Happy Father's Day Dad, I hope Daisy got you something nice!

Today I will celebrate Father's Day with my Dad (step dad) by waiting on him hand and foot as this is literally the only day we give him off!!  Don't be fooled we will probably go shopping which means he will be buying ;) I don't know if that's a win/win situation for him but it definitely is for me and my sister!
I feel very lucky that for my whole life he has been in it!!  He was a brave man for taking on a wife and kid like me... Who am I kidding, he's the lucky one as I am pretty ahhhmazing!  Happy Father's Day Dad-Dee I couldn't have picked a better dad if I tried! Love you.

I hope you all have a great day and cherish every moment and memory you make today and everyday, I definitely will be!!!!

Man Of Steel

Happy Friday My Friends,

Today is the day that most people have been waiting for!  Man Of Steel opens in theaters!!! Yaaaaay!  And just in time for Father's Day!!!

In my opinion, they did a damn good job finding someone who looks just like Christopher Reeves (the original superman)! We first meet him in modern day, the member of a fishing boat's crew, sneaking off to save a bunch of oil rig workers from incineration - his super powers being cloaked from the world due to fears of being found out to be a super freak.  The hero eventually emerges as he has to save the world from General Zod's annihilation .  If you are a super man fan, this is a movie you don't want to miss!
Featuring an all star cast; Russel Crow (Jor-El), Diane Lane and Kevin Costner (Ma and Pa Kent), Amy Adams (Lois Lane)and Henry Cavill (Man of Steel/Clark Kent/Kal-El).
Now if you haven't bought tickets yet I recommend doing that now as I noticed on Wednesday night a lot of the time clots were already sold out!

If you don't get to see it this weekend but want to see something, I recommend Now You See Me!  It was fabulous, not what I expected and had me on the edge of my seat the whole time!

Have a great weekend and check back on Sunday for my Father's Day post!

xoxo Lindsay

Thank Goodness It's Thursday!

Happy Thursday My Friends,

For those of us who work Monday to Friday this means one more sleep until the weekend!  With summer approaching the television shows are dwindling down to one or two a night.  Not a big deal when we should all be outside enjoying the sunshine!  Here's what's on the tube tonight:

Season Finale of Save Me, yes you read me correctly, this show only made a hand full or so of episodes for sweeps month.  I personally liked the show!  I think it shows some great potential with a great cast!  I really hope it survives!  Check out tonight's finale at 5:30pm EST / 8:30pm PST on NBC.

New Hell's Kitchen where the final 6 chefs compete; will the black jackets be given out tonight?  Find out at 5pm EST / 8pm PST on FOX

New Does Someone Have to Go?  Part 2 is on tonight featuring a company called DFX, a sports and fitness company run by an overbearing boss who was supposed to give control up years ago to his daughter.  Find out who may potentially get fired on tonight's conclusion starting at 6pm EST / 9pm PST on FOX

Due to the NBA finales Rookie Blue is not on tonight.  Depending on when these end, it will begin!

**Don't forget to enter the fashionista giveaway**

Happy Watching!

Mistress Monday and The Fosters All New!

Happy Monday My Friends,

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Judging by my Rudolf nose I was outside for most of it playing baseball.

Tonight we don't have much going on for television.

Mistresses is all new tonight, will this show last?  I don't know, it wasn't great last week.  But the pilots are not always the best of the best and it has two more episodes to lure me in before I move on!  Catch an all new episode tonight at 7pm EST / 10pm PST on ABC

Did anyone catch 'The Fosters' on ABC Family last Monday?!  Well I PVR'd it and was able to catch up last tuesday.  I loved it!  I know it may be a little young for me but I thought it was very mature, deals with real life issues and is sure to be a success.  I encourage you all to give it a try!  Tonight at 6pm EST / 9pm PST on ABC Family (channel 114 West coasters)

For all you readers out there with kidlets, The Smurfs are on tonight at 6pm PST on MC 3 channel 62.

Just a reminder of the new shows coming this summer to hopefully make us laugh, have us intrigued and keep us entertained until fall!

Under the Dome June 24 at 10pm on CBS
On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester’s Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener’s hand is severed as “the dome” comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when—or if—it will go away.
Dale Barbara, Iraq vet and now a short-order cook, finds himself teamed with a few intrepid citizens—town newspaper owner Julia Shumway, a physician’s assistant at the hospital, a selectwoman, and three brave kids. Against them stands Big Jim Rennie, a politician who will stop at nothing—even murder—to hold the reins of power, and his son, who is keeping a horrible secret in a dark pantry. But their main adversary is the Dome itself. Because time isn’t just short. It’s running out.

Big Brother 15 IS BACK June 26th @ 8pm on CBSIf you don’t know what this show is about by now, time to jump on the band wagon and start watching!

These everyday heroes will then have a shot at the $500,000 cash prize and the chance to be crowned the first-ever American Ninja Warrior.  Who will have what it takes? Find out this summer as the heart-racing contest returns Mondays at 5pm EST / 8pm PST on NBC

In each half-hour episode, two friends compete to see who can pick their ideal mate from a group of 12 prospective singles, after both the players and the contestants have taken compatibility tests. These tests are used to assign cash values to each possible match, and the player who selects the most compatible single – with the highest cash value – wins the cash prize and the date!

Mistresses Monday

Happy Monday My Friends,

The start to another work week.  I hope you are enjoying your day and getting ready for ABC's all new steamy summer drama Mistresses!  You best believe I will be!

What is this show about you ask?!

Do you all remember Samantha, the sweet little tom boy from Who's the Boss?

Well she's all grown up now, not so sweet and is the headliner of this quartet of gal pals in Mistresses.

Based on the British hit series, Mistresses centers around the romantic exploits of a group of very beautiful and successful women living in Los Angeles.  Savi, played by Alyssa Milano, is an attorney trying to conceive a baby with her husband, but also finding herself in a flirtatious relationship with co-workers.  Karen, played by Yunjin Kim, is a therapist who gets caught up in a romantic relationship with one of her patients, who's also married and dying.  April, played by Rochelle Aytes, is a recent widow who's still trying to get over her husband when she discovers a secret he was keeping from her.  And last, but not least, Josslyn, played by Jes Macallan, Savi's free-spirited sister who works in real estate and is a serial dater with no shortage of romantic suitors.  A show that is not only just about infidelity but about the affects it has on relationships and families.
As with most, tonight's pilot is a get-to-know-them episode, showing little peeks into each characters world, setting up for the rest of the season.  So give it the three episode try like I do and let me know what you think!
This salacious new drama hits TV tonight at 7pm EST/ 10pm PST on ABC.

**@ohsolindsay will be live tweeting tonight at 7pm**

Happy Watching!
xoxo Lindsay
