Thinking of what you should do this long weekend?  You need to buy your tickets and go to The Vancouver Aquarium!  This is a great way to spend quality time with your family and loved ones!

I had the pleasure of spoiling my niece and nephew there last Thursday and we had so much fun!  There is so much to explore, learn and experience!  The Vancouver Aquarium offers something for everyone!

This summer, The Vancouver Aquarium is featuring the Penguins and the Jellyfish.  These are two MUST see exhibits!  

You MUST go and check out the newest addition to The Vancouver Aquarium which is the African Penguins.  These little guys are so neat to see in person and they have daily penguin walks through the Beluga Whale habitat.  With an interactive learning presentation, you are sure to walk away knowing a little more about these birds than you did before you arrived.
Come by this weekend and watch these little guys waddle around learning new behaviors, experiencing the sights and sounds and getting some well deserved exercise in.

Did you know that jellyfish are 95 percent water?!  Come check out the new exhibits and interactive displays of how a jellyfish hunts, eats, protects themselves, reproduces and much much more!
The jellyfish invasion is mesmerizing with over 15 different species of jellyfish you could spend all day staring at them!
























The Vancouver Aquarium has so much to offer with over 50,000 animals to see and learn about!   From dolphins to seals, to whales and otters and so much more!

Pack a snack for yourself and the kidlets and head to the Aquarium today!  Make sure to save room for lunch, as the food offered at the aquarium is amazing... I had the fish and chips and they were some of the best I've ever had!

Get there early to avoid the line-ups and have fun!

The CW Super Fall Schedule

Okay my friends we are even closer now to my favourite time of year!... Fall!  I love it for the colors, the fresh crisp air, the pumpkin spiced lattes but most of all, T.V.  This is when all the NEW shows and seasons start!

The CW starts their spectacular fall line-up with the adventurous life of Zoey Hart!
We last left Zoey, in New York and planning on staying for awhile, after really truly finding herself and her feelings for Wade, not George as most of us had thought.  Season 3 will have a lot of surprises; I am hoping a big one will be that Wade and Zoey reconcile, but now she is being reeled in by Dr Breland's nephew who is easy on the eyes, if  I might say so myself.  Will Zoey return to Bluebell or will the big city life suck her back in?  Find out this October 7th at 8pm

Beauty and the Beast Mondays
I must admit, I have lost my interest in this show but I am hoping season 2 will reel me back in.  We ended season 1 with family secrets revealed and Gabe taking drastic measures to find a cure.  Although Vincent is still immortal this hasn't changed Cat's feelings for him as they both work to lock up the bad guys and figure out her connection to Muirfield! The secrets all start October 7th at 9pm

Supernatural Tuesdays
Running for 8 seasons strong, Supernatural is back for its 9th season. And this season we will see the strong brotherly bond continue as they fight the fight together in a world where the normal constructs of heaven and hell which aren't there anymore.  There will be the king of hell living in their dungeon and angels walking around everywhere, so it will be up to them to stick together to try and control the world.
Rumor has it there is a Supernatural spin off in the works and will include Sam and Dean.  Continue the demon hunting October 8th at 9pm

DC's Comics Arrow is back for Season 2 as The Hood who has been battling against the dark arrow and has now succeeded prepares to battle against other comic book villains.  This season focuses on Oliver's
transformation from The Hood to Green Arrow as he struggles from being a vigilante to hero,  Laural will have a new job with a new partner who turn out to be 'Orphan Black' and this season introduces the Flash (rumor has will be a segway into a pilot for The Flash).  The Black Canary will also be introduced to us this season.  These comic characters return October 9th at 8pm

The Tomorrow People Wednesdays
They are the next evolutionary leap of mankind, a generation of humans born with paranormal abilities.  
Up until a year ago, Stephen was a “normal” teenager until he began hearing voices and teleporting in his sleep, never knowing where he might wake up. Now, Stephen’s issues have gone far beyond the usual teenage angst, and he is beginning to question his sanity. The Vampire Diaries Thursdays
Words can't even describe how excited I am for this premiere!  Every season gets better and better and this one sure isn't any different!
Elena and Caroline embark on collage just as would any teenager who just graduated from high school.  Elena is feeling very torn between the guilt of not wanting to leave home where Jeremy’s finally settling back into school, and she’s got this really loving and thrilling relationship with Damon that she’s been experiencing all summer. She’s completely unaware of Stefan’s jeopardy or Bonnie’s death. So she’s sad about leaving home like anybody would be, but very excited to get a new start at college with her best friend.

Caroline is in true Caroline Forbes form, trying to make the best of her college experience, in spite of several disappointments that come her way, and a challenge that she has to face in her relationship with Tyler who she still loves very, very deeply and remains deeply committed to. But college is not easy when you’re moving away from home and you’re trying to service a relationship that defined you in high school, and now where does it go in college? And she, more than anybody, will be really struggling with adapting from this sort of bright and sunshiny high school Caroline Forbes to the girl that’s trying to live a good life at college in spite of a lot of obstacles that are going to come her way  One of the big questions here is where is Tyler and when we finally get to see him?Bonnie will go through an arc in the beginning part of the season that forces her to accept this huge consequence that she has for sacrificing herself for Jeremy, and kind of overreaching with her magic. She will still very much part of the show and begins to accept the fact that she’s dead, and that’s just her reality, which not easy for her to swallow. 

Jeremy begins this season dealing with the fact that his peers already had a memorial for him. So he has to deal with the awkward social situation that he’s about to walk into which leads him into a very man kind of role. He becomes the man of the house. He really grows up between last season and this season. He takes on a protagonist type of action role.  And he’s currently — until people learn the truth — he’s Bonnie’s mouth piece. He’s helping hide her secret of her death and he’s reluctantly communicating with all her friends and family as her, at her request, and he really, truly believes that Bonnie needs to ‘fess up, or at least that her friends need to be aware that she’s no longer with us.  All this Vampire drama begins October 10th at 8pm

Reign Thursdays

This show is about a young women from the history books named Mary Stuart, who the world would come to know as Mary, Queen of Scots. She has been the Queen of Scotland since she was six days old and has now blossomed into a head strong beautiful teenager, filled with a lot of expectations.  She and her four closest friends, aka ladies in waiting, have been sent to France to meet her future fiance, Prince Francis and to secure a strategic alliance with the French. But upon her arrival her future Prince is not sure how he feels about being tied down to just one women, as he has been a bit of a ladies man, which allows for this half brother, Bash, to catch her eye and a royal triangle beings to form.

While at the French Court, fierce foes and dark forces conspire to sabotage the marriage of Francis and Mary even threatening her life.  Mary rallies he her ladies in waiting and prepares to rule the new land and balance the demands of her country and her heart. October 10th at 9pm
