Mistress Monday and The Fosters All New!

Happy Monday My Friends,

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Judging by my Rudolf nose I was outside for most of it playing baseball.

Tonight we don't have much going on for television.

Mistresses is all new tonight, will this show last?  I don't know, it wasn't great last week.  But the pilots are not always the best of the best and it has two more episodes to lure me in before I move on!  Catch an all new episode tonight at 7pm EST / 10pm PST on ABC

Did anyone catch 'The Fosters' on ABC Family last Monday?!  Well I PVR'd it and was able to catch up last tuesday.  I loved it!  I know it may be a little young for me but I thought it was very mature, deals with real life issues and is sure to be a success.  I encourage you all to give it a try!  Tonight at 6pm EST / 9pm PST on ABC Family (channel 114 West coasters)

For all you readers out there with kidlets, The Smurfs are on tonight at 6pm PST on MC 3 channel 62.

Just a reminder of the new shows coming this summer to hopefully make us laugh, have us intrigued and keep us entertained until fall!

Twisted Tuesday June 11 at 9pm on ABC Family

Whodunnit Sunday June 23 at 9pm on ABC13 contestants’ investigative skills are put to the test in this mystery reality competition.  Similar to the board game Clue, real humans will use a variety of crime scene investigation techniques to meticulously uncover evidence in a series of puzzling murders and to ultimately reveal who among them is the killer. Some players will form alliances in the competition, while others will choose to go it alone in their quest for the grand prize of $250,000.  Can you guess who the killer is?  Check it out every Sunday at 6pm EST/ 9pm PST on ABC.

Under the Dome June 24 at 10pm on CBS
On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester’s Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener’s hand is severed as “the dome” comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when—or if—it will go away.
Dale Barbara, Iraq vet and now a short-order cook, finds himself teamed with a few intrepid citizens—town newspaper owner Julia Shumway, a physician’s assistant at the hospital, a selectwoman, and three brave kids. Against them stands Big Jim Rennie, a politician who will stop at nothing—even murder—to hold the reins of power, and his son, who is keeping a horrible secret in a dark pantry. But their main adversary is the Dome itself. Because time isn’t just short. It’s running out.

Putting a unique twist on dating game shows by not only giving players a chance to win a date, but also the opportunity to win cold hard cash — IF they can successfully identify their perfect match. In each half-hour episode, two friends compete to see who can pick their ideal mate from a group of 12 prospective singles, after both the players and the contestants have taken compatibility tests. These tests are used to assign cash values to each possible match, and the player who selects the most compatible single – with the highest cash value – wins the cash prize and the date!

Breaking Pointe Monday July 22 @ 9pm on The CW
Ripping back the curtain on the inner workings of the elite Salt Lake City Ballet Company, Ballet West, this reality focuses on, for the first time ever, the beauty and grace of ballet.  But it’s not reality without a little draaaaaama!  We will also see the dark side of this ‘perfect’ world; the jealousy, competition and the intensity that exists behind the scenes of a ballet company.  Under the tights and tutus are warriors, who battle in the world of extreme athleticism, focus and dedication, while searching for the unattainable… perfection.  A real like Centre Stage, check it out, Monday July 22 at 6pm EST / 9pm PST on The CW.

Capture Wednesday July 31 @ 9pm on The CW

An intense new wilderness competition, 12 teams of 2 will enter "The Arena," a fenced-in enclosure in the middle of the wild, where they must live for one month and compete against each other for scarce resources. With $250,000 on the line, it's a winner-take-all battle in which the teams must hunt each other down to survive.
