Blown Away by "Does Someone Have To Go?'

Happy Friday My Friends,

For my American readers I hope you have entered to win the fathers day gift card, nothing says dad like Home Depot http://ohsolindsay.blogspot.ca/2013/05/fathers-day-giveaway-event.html

SOOOOO what did you think of the series premiere of Does Someone Have To Go? It doesn't seem like too many people caught the show, which is a shame as it surprisingly blew me away!  Like a train wreck you can't help but watch!  I couldn't even get up to go to the bathroom I was so intrigued, stuck on my couch!

I will admit I didn't watch it from the beginning, tuning in after 20 minutes but I think it was perfect timing on my part as they were just getting to the juicy part.  Each member of the company were video taped and asked about their colleagues, what they liked what they didn't liked.  Little did they know it was going to be shown in the boardroom for everyone to see.  YEP!!! Everyone saw and heard the real truth of what people think of them and about the 'nepotism' running through the company.  I can't imagine how I would feel, I'm already an emotional person, I would've left crying and angry FOR SURE, without a doubt!  I was shocked at how these people took it, most were upset but no tears really.
During this 'assignment' the employees have to pick three people who they feel should be nominated for pay cuts and possible dismissal.
To fuel the fire, everyone was called to the boardroom a second time and salaries were revealed.  OMG can you BELIEVE that? I gasped!!!  To know what everyone else makes whether they are in your department or not!!!!  I couldn't handle it.  And neither could some people.  This definitely helped the employees decide who they should cut:

Kout, mother of owner and head accountant;

Uncle Mike, sales person, and family member;

Koe, collections, not a family member.

I honestly can't believe I have to wait a week to see how it ends and am shocked at how sucked in and interested I am in this new series!  You'll definitely be seeing this more on this blog!!  stay tuned...

Tell me your thoughts: What would your colleagues say about you?  Would you say anything about them if you knew they might see/hear it?  Do you think you could handle this show?

Have a great weekend!

xoxo Lindsay

'Save Me' From This 'Blue' Thursday!

Happy Thursday My Friends!

That's right an all new season of 'Rookie Blue' starts tonight!  With an extra added bonus of the series premiere of 'Save Me' staring Anne Heche.  So settle into the comfiest spot in your house, grab yourself a snack, mine will be some delicious surf sweets gummy bears from my tasty Foodee snack box, an healthy organic snack and get ready for a GREAT night of new shows!

Tonight we have new show starting!  Save Me on NBC.  This show stars Anne Heche, whom I love from 'Men In Trees'; I feel this show is going to be right up her alley as it seems like a character she can play very well!
The premise of this show is about a awful, rage-filled, narcissistic housewife (Anne Heche) who wants to murder her cheating husband in his sleep, her teen daughter despises her and the neighbors cringe when she tries to join them for lunch.  After drunkenly choking on a submarine sandwich, she comes to a changed women and realizes she has a direct line to god!  Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty of sorts, this show could be promising, hitting the viewers at just the right time to be successful.  Can this housewife prove to everyone she's changed?  Find out tonight with back-to-back episodes of this series premiere starting at 5pm EST / 8pm PST on NBC.

Entering into its fourth season, this summer-time police hit 'Rookie Blue' centers around a squad of young police officers learning the ropes of how things work when you're a 'real' police officer and now feeling comfortable with their ranking in the squad, no longer Rookie's in a sense.  Last season definitely left us hanging, as Andy and Sam were FINALLY ready to be together after three seasons of things getting in the way, but taken away when Andy and Nick got offered an undercover job on a covert task force making them leave with no word to Sam or Gail.
We start tonight off  with Andy and Nick immersed in their undercover job and how it affects the people in their lives upon their return.  Mostly welcomed back by their colleagues, these two have a lot to deal with as Sam has moved on and Gail is furious and jealous of the situation.  With everyone in a different place, Chris with a Kid, Traci without a fiance, Oliver with a strained home life and Dov still reeling from killing a child, this season will not disappoint!  It all starts tonight at 7pm EST / 10pm PST on ABC and Global
***@OhSoLindsay will be LIVE tweeting for tonight's season premiere, log on and follow me for minute by minute tweets***

Hell's Kitchen has MOVED to Thursdays!  An all new episode starts tonight at 5pm EST / 8pm PST on FOX Followed by....

A new reality series Does Someone Have To Go?
Admit it: You think you're smarter than your boss. Your workplace is a total mess and only you know how to fix it. 'Don' gets paid too much and he's always showing up late. 'Jen' deserves a promotion because she does all the work, but no one notices her. And the only reason 'Debbie' from accounting still has a job is because her best friend is the boss' wife.
An interesting new series that takes an ordinary workplace with a ton of prblems and gives the power to the employees.  A Survivor meets The Office tune in tonight to see the ugly side of things when people vent their true feelings.
Series Premiere starts at 6pm EST / 9pm PST on FOX

Happy Watching and see you on Twitter!

The Goodwin Games

Happy Tuesday My Friends,

Monday for us Canadians, as yesterday was a holiday.  I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I was going through the schedule for the night and something new caught my eye.  The Goodwin Games.  Not knowing what it was about I pvr'd it and headed out to baseball.   Upon my return, I got ready for bed and relaxed watching this new show staring Scott Foley and Beau Bridges.

I was surprised to see Scott Foley in this role, a talented actor who has gone from the famous Noel Crane on Felicity to Henry Burton on Grey's Anatomy to Jake Ballard on Scandal and now Henry Goodwin on The Goodwin Games, a character out of his normal realm of characters.  And he does well at it!

This show focuses around three grown kids, Henry (Scott Foley), Chloe (Becki Newton) and Jimmy (T.J. Miller) who have been estranged from their father and each other for years and are brought together when they each learn about their fathers death.  Upon his death they find out that they stand to gain the 23 million dollar trust he has saved up over the years for them, but with a hitch.  He has created a complicated plan of activities they have to do together in order to gain the inheritance, the first one being Trivial Pursuit Goodwin style, meaning all questions were about the three of them! The best part of this episode was Elijah, whom no one knew or why he was there but he was there to play the game!  After failing at finishing the first game each of them walked away with 50 dollars but not Elijah as he got 1 million dollars for his troubles making Henry yell at him again WHO ARE YOU?!

The first episode, as many pilots go, was o.k.  Not knowing the premise of this show I found it to be original and has very good potential with this cast. The brother Jimmy is my least favourite character, but I guess there always has to be one.

With only 6 episodes taped this show may not survive, but with all the shows going on summer break this show stands a chance.  I will give it the 3 episode try and see how it turns out!  Check it out every Monday night at 5:30pm EST / 8:30pm PST on FOX.

Tonight is a sad night as we say good-bye to The Office, a comedic staple in our Thursday night line-up, that for 9 seasons was able to help fill the void Friends left when it ended!  Check out the two hour series finale at 5pm EST / 8pm PST on NBC

Tonight's season finale is going to be one for the books.  We continue with repercussions of the lifted veil and the elusive 'cure'! It's graduation day in Mystic Falls and these graduates are surrounded by ghosts running around settling old scores, now that Bonnie is dead will the veil be fixed?  Who will find and take the cure?  Will Elena finally choose which Salvatore brother she wants to be with?  And what about Katherine, is she here to stay or will Elena get her final revenge?  You don't want to miss this epic Season Finale tonight at 5pm EST / 8pm PST on the CW.

I haven't been following this show, as you can see I already have a lot on my plate, but the season finale looks so good, I am going to catch up this summer, just in time for the fall season.  Tonight on the two hour season finale Sherlock is reeling from the reappearance of his former lover, Irene, causing a series of flashbacks unravelling the tumultuous events that let to his downfall into addiction.  Meanwhile, Sherlock and Joan once again find themselves in the cross-hairs of the enigmatic Moriarty.  Don't miss it tonight at 6pm EST / 9pm PST on CBS.

Tonight's season finale will not disappoint as this all-star cast ends season 6 with us in stitches, I'm sure of it!  Tonight Leonard is offered an opportunity to work abroad for the summer which throw Penny through a loop and brings Sheldon to jealousy.  Meanwhile, Raj tries to move his 'relationship' in a new direction by introducing Lucy to his friends but fears she may not like them!  Can't wait to watch it at 5pm EST / 8pm PST on CBS

Part 2 of the two-part season finale of Grey's Anatomy wraps up tonight.  I have been waiting to watch this with my friend! So I apologize for no synopsis for you as I want it to be a surprise!  I don't have doubt in my mind that it will be heart pounding and stressful all wrapped in one bringing season 9 to a close!  Watch it tonight at 6pm EST / 9pm PST on ABC
Last but NOT least SCANDAL.  The hottest hit drama to hit ABC's Thursday night line-up.  This show, twists and turns more than a roller coaster.  One minute you think you have the answer and the next you're completley wrong!  Tonight we will hopefully find out the true face of the mole.  Will Olivia and Fitz become a couple in public?  The possibilities are endless when it comes to this show!  You don't want to miss it tonight at 7pm EST / 10pm PST on ABC

Happy Watching My Friends!

Season Finale Sunday

Hello my friends,

Did we all survive Sunday's night of finales and Mother's Day?! With three hours of Survivor and two hours of Revenge, two hours of Long Island Medium and two hours of Celebrity Apprentice it was time for me to go to bed, and save Once Upon a Time for Monday night!
(SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THESE SHOWS YET)

REVENGE

This was a very good two hour finale so many twists and turns keeping you glued to the TV screen not to miss a beat.  This episode circled around the revenge that both Jack and Emily have on the Graysons and the secrets they continue to find out.  Emily's three season struggle with bringing the Graysons down still hasn't ended and Jacks has only begun.

This episode a cyber attack has taken over New York city creating chaos and uncertainty.  What we later find out is that Conrad was behind it and he shows his true colours by having a bomb planted at Grayson global to kill Jack but what he doesn't anticipate, and it isn't explained too well, is that its Decklan that gets injured in the blast.  Succumbing to his injuries later on in the hospital.  Shocker? I'd say so! What will Charlotte do now that shes pregnant and alone?  What will Conrad's repercussions be now that Daniel knows he set it all up and what will Victoria do now that she knows her husbands biggest demon? Being apart of the 'initiative'?

Meanwhile, Nolan and Emily try and stop the 'initiative' and Jack from killing Conrad and ruining their futures.  Aidan gets arrested for the cyber attack and bombings at Grayson global to which Daniel believes to be true as this is before he is aware of his fathers actions.  After a chat with the authorities Aidan is freed and heads straight to Emily's and so does Daniel.  Still defending Grayson Global Daniel fights with Aidan and we see Daniel fall and find Emily's gun.  Cut to Daniel walking into Conrad's victory party with blood on his sleeve leaving us wondering if Aidan is alive or dead.  As Conrad's speech looms Emily and Nolan frantically search for Jack as he is there to kill Conrad, little does Emily know she is on her own as Nolan is being arrested and accused for leading the initiative.

The season ends with Patrick, Victoria's illegitimate son, showing up at Victoria's door, face unknown.  AND, the biggest and BEST twist of the season: Emily FINALLY confessing to Jack that she is the true Amanda Clarke!  SHOCKKKKERRRR!!!!!  I couldn't believe it! What does this mean for them? For their plans?  Will they work together to bring down the Graysons? Will he accept her?  This is going to be a long summer since there are four months to wait until season 5 begins!

SURVIVOR

Sunday night was a two hour season finale followed by the one hour reunion show.  The opening credits had barely finished rolling before we saw Erik keeled over in pain and doctors telling him he must be pulled from the game, leaving the final five down to the final four in the first five minutes. To get that far and leave because of a medical emergency is heartbreaking.  The next morning the final four woke up to tree mail and were thrilled that it's a reward challenge!  A nice boost to help them get to the end!  Cochran wins the ultimate reward, an advantage in the final immunity challenge.  The final immunity challenge comes with a puzzle and Cochran's advantage is that he does not have to untie his puzzle pieces   A HUGE advantage at this point in the game!  Which allows Cochran to win the crucial final immunity challenge.  Cochran found it best for himself to get rid of Eddie since he made no enemies throughout the game, had many fans on the jury and potentially the only one who could beat him!  This left the final three to Dawn, Sherri and Cochran.

BEFORE

After a grueling final tribal council where the jury was to ask each of the finalists questions (insults) as to why they deserve to win, we fly back to the U.S. with Jeff to see who the winner is!

And the winner is....... Cochran, with a unanimous vote he wins the million dollar prize and title of ultimate survivor.  Being a fan for over half his life, his dream has come true!

AFTER

At the end of the reunion they showed a small clip and revealed their next season starting in September; Blood vs Water.. What do you think that means?  I took to the twitter feeds and noticed a lot of people saying blood is thicker than water and that maybe its a family team vs strangers!  Only time will tell!

ONCE UPON A TIME

As I couldn't watch this until last night it is still fresh in my mind. A lot was revealed but a lot left us puzzled and wondering what will come in the future.  Last night we watched as Tamra and Greg along with Hook activated the black diamond to destroy Storybrooke and all the magic within it.  Hook however, wavered back and fourth all episode being good and evil and in the end good prevailed!  We also saw the relationship Hook had with Bae/Neal when Baelfire was a boy and the Lost Boys were in hot pursuit of him, realizing that he was Rumpelstiltskin's son and the son of the women he loved and lost.

Meanwhile, Emma and Regina were able to stop the diamond together from destroying Storybrooke but during this Greg and Tamara stole Henry and used a magic bean to jump through a portal.  Panic set in for Mary Margaret (Snow White), David (the Prince), Emma (their daughter), Mr. Gold (Rumpelstiltskin) and Regina (the Evil Queen) to find Henry without any magic beans.   It is then that we are shown Peter Pan's Lost Boys have been searching for Henry, not Baelfire as we were led to believe and that Greg and Tamara have caught wind of this and why they took him through the portal.  Just as all hope is lost for Mary Margaret, David, Emma, Regina and Mr. Gold, Hook's conscious brings him back and together the six of them use the magic bean to create a portal in the water to sail into to find Henry.  And it ends.  Will the royal family be able to find Henry in time?  Will Regina become a good person?  What is Hook's ulterior Motive?  Will Baelfire be alive?  Well, we have four months to ponder all these questions.

This show has become such a hit they have created a spin-off series debuting this fall "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" featuring Sofie Lowe as Alice.  If you don't watch this series I highly recommend catching up over the summer, you can expect the unexpected here!

Check back each day for Season Finale reviews!

Have a great day
xoxo Oh So Lindsay

Happy Friday - Big Brother Canada Shockers & More!

Hello My Friends and Happy Friday!

For most of us our weekend starts after today! So cheers to the weekend!

Holy Hannah, last nights Big Brother Canada was one for the books. Followed by an intense Greys Anatomy and Scandal, my blood pressure was at an all time high lol!

First lets start with Big Brother Canada

And the winner is..... JILLIAN MACLAUGHLIN

BUT, the biggest shocker award in Big Brother History goes to Topaz Brady, for casting the wrong vote, after it was explained to her.  Come on Topaz, if Talla can understand and get the voting right (<3 u  Talla) then there is no excuse for Topaz.

Starting from the beginning of the night, watching Gary win the final HoH was shocker number one for me!!!  Shocker number two, he chose to keep Jillian... I mean it was a toss up for sure as he only had a 50/50 chance (duh) against either of them!  But I thought for sure he would take Emmett.  And three, and this is a Big Brother FIRST, TOPAZ!!! Enough said.
For those of you who don't follow, Topaz created drama last night when she fought her vote saying she voted for Gary not Jillian and that someone switched it.  I thought initially it was scripted but after she kept fighting it on live TV Big Brother Canada went to an an impromptu commercial and upon returning, showed footage of Topaz grabbing Jillian's name and inserting it into the slot to vote.  COSTING, Gary the title of Big Brother Canada winner and the $100,000 prize!  With this snafu the votes were 4-3 in favor of Jillian the first ever Big Brother Canada winner!  Congratulations Jillian you deserved it!!!
Twitter was exploding with Topazes mistake, she is going to need to go into hiding as Gary fans all over will be upset with her!!  Hopefully she learns to read properly.

I am hoping we will see updates through twitter and the news/tabloids of all the Big Brother Canada contestants and what their lives are like now!

Don't miss the season premiere of Big Brother 15 on June 26th!!

Greys Anatomy

After the shocker of Big Brother Canada, I dove right into Grey's anatomy!  And boy oh boy, maybe I should have taken a break.  Another great episode, I am super interested in what the two part season finale brings as Grey's always has epic cliffhangers.
Last night we saw Bailey shut everyone out and focus on her mistake, checking every minute to if she is still infected.  Owen's love for kids has developed as he has taken an interest in Ethan who is basically orphaned.  Will this story line develop into Christina and Owen adopting Ethan, changing Christina's belief and want of children?  Alex's relationship with Jo is on the rocks because of his jealousy and opening his big mouth, but as the show ended and as I gasped, we saw Jo asking Alex to stay with him as her new boyfriend beat her.  Will Alex go ballistic on him? Yep, next week's episode will not disappoint.
Through the tribes and tribulations of this past year with Arizona and Kallie, will Arizona cheat on Kalie with the hot new craniofacial specialist?  Will she be a new character staying on this show?  And last but not least, Meredeth and Derek, as this pregnancy has left doubts in Meredeth's mind, she has lost babies before and is worried about the Alzheimer's gene, they show Derek showing 'concern' as he wears a princess crown and says what if this little boy is mean to Zola lol.  Next week we see Meredith slip and fall down the stairs, will her baby be okay?  Tune in next week for the first of the two-part season finale at next Thursday 6pm EST / 9pm PST on ABC.

Last, but not least, I ended my night with Scandal:

This show moves really quickly leaving you watching an episode more than once to make sure you took everything in!  As the search for the mole and Huck's attacker continues, the team finds out that this may just be one in the same; Cyrus.  They quickly uncover Charlie, Huck's trainer, is Cyrus' hit man and was the one who killed Amanda Tanner leaving Huck to begin to fear Olivia may be next, since she is the President's girl.  With all this coming to light Mellie threatens to expose Fitz's extra marital affair with Olivia Pope.  Olivia and Fitz fight and she tells him he has to earn her and that is exactly what he does.  When Mellie's deadline looms, Fitz comes to Olivia's apartment and sits and waits for it to end leaving Mellie to follow through and tell, on live national television, of Fitz's affair unbenownst to him as he is making love to Olivia.
Next week's episode should sure as heck knock your socks off as the May 16th season finale grows nearer and nearer.  Tune in next Thursday to see the ramifications of Mellie's public announcement at 7pm EST / 10pm PST on ABC.
The sun will be shining all weekend go outside and enjoy!  Have a great weekend!

Thank Goodness It's Thursday

Hello my friends,

I have been feeling very under the weather from my trip hence the non-posts this week.  Thank you to all those who kept checking back to see whats on.  My goal is to have my Vegas musts and busts done this weekend!  I have so much to share!!

Moving on, Are you all ready for tonight?? We have the SEASON FINALE of Big Brother Canada, a two hour special!  And all new episodes of our favorite shows!!!  Yes; Grey's, Scandal, Big Bang Theory, the list goes on and on.  Tonight is a BIG night for tv so grab your favorite drink and curl up in the comfiest place in your home to enjoy a night of reality, drama and comedy!

Big Brother Canada

Last night we saw Emmett (and Jillian) continue to dominate as Emmett won the POV and securing his shot (and ultimatley Jillian's) in the final three.  Because Emmett was the only vote, he chose to evict Talla.  Do you think this was a good idea?  I don't.  Talla has won NOTHING!  I love her dearly but how could you evict someone who has no chance?  Bad move Milkman, he better hope Gary doesn't dominate and win, which is a huge posibility.

The final three will be competing tonight for the FIRST winner of Big Brother Canada!  Will it be Emmett?  Jillian? or Gary?  Find out tonight, on the TWO-HOUR season finale starting at 6pm on Slice.  Follow @ohsolindsay as I will be tweeting live during the show!
